No it's not Purple Light, or C130, steamroller, left to right to etc... but these two songs that remind me of army, or rather specifically two distinct moments in my army career. The first was a warm evening after dinner in BMT where we shot our own MTV to the song sweetness by Jimmy Eat World. The second is a cold rainy afternoon in one of the small LTs in SI where we were discussing for some performances, when we were listening to Chasing Cars by Snow Patrol, eventually deciding to sing it. I was listening to these two songs when the memories came and reminded me of the good times. :)

I was surfing the net when i came across this article http://blogs.wsj.com/chinajournal/2008/06/19/in-south-africa-chinese-is-the-new-black/?mod=yhoofront in which, the Chinese in south Africa will be reclassified as Black! What really stirred up my emotions was not the article itself, but some of the comments like "More discrimination against white people. Lets hear it for multiculturalism!!" or "be save from chinese see what there did with tibetans" and "People of Color really should be “anybody but whitey”". This reminded me of this song by DC Talk
