Honestly, I don't mind being single at my current stage of life, even though most of my friends are attached, with quite a number getting married. But I just feel slightly sad that most of my close friends are slowly becoming only friends, through no one's fault. I'm not bitter that their significant others become a much larger part of their life, it's the way that it should be. I'm just a bit... 

I remember having this conversation with a very good friend watching kids going to school at 6am, that friends will eventually drift away, esp when they get attached. I was in denial then, but I guess I knew how this would happen eventually, esp since this had alr happened with a number of my close friends. And while I'm happy you found happiness with your new significant other, esp after all the shit you've been through, I guess I'm just kinda sad that we are slowly drifting apart...
